My band's going into the studio this weekend, and I thought it would be a good excuse for getting a new snare drum
I currently have a DDrum Diatribe kit, and am using the snare that it came with, which is a good snare, there's just something about it I'm not too fond of. Can't really put my finger on it. So I thought maybe a maple snare would do the trick.
I was doing some research and found the DDrum S4 Maple snare drum. It's got the same hardware as my kit (which is a plus for me) and it's only $150 (a BIG plus for me), but then again that prices worries me about how good of a snare it is.
Everything I've read so far says it's a great snare, but I was wondering if anybody on here has one or has played one, before I make a trip out to the drum shop.
Thanks ahead of time!
