Default DW rack system

Here is my take on the dw rack system. Some like racks others dont so if you do I think the dw is a great rack as it helped me get rid of 9 stands.Just to let you know the DW. PDP, and Gibraltar will all fit each other as they are all the same 1 1/2 in bars. The DW hardware is very easy to work with as it is all hinged so you dont have to remove anything to put stuff on and off as the dixon hardware isnt hinged. Some if, not all of the Gibraltar is. The DW and PDP is satin finish, Gibraltar is black and chrome. With all the dw, PDp I did not find 1 peice of hardware I didnt like. I hope this helps as I really like my drum rack. Also to make things easy put memery locks on all and write on tape and put on clamps what mounts to it and it will be so simple to tear down and put up. If you have any ? please ask and I will help the best I can or look at pictures and you can see where all is Nuff said editing by Gmann

Larry, just from a looks standpoint, I really like what the rack did for your kit. I really like the cleanliness of the set up. As to the tear down and set up, I have not had to do that with mine yet, but it is sure my hope that it will be much easier.

Nice Larry! DW is great, drums and HW! If I was ever going to add a rack to mine, the DW would be it. For now though, I think 1 kit with a rack is enough

Drums look great BTW!!

I really like your setup all around Larry. The drums look great with or without the rack. I can't wait until it is in my budget to get a rack. I could stand to lose a few stands myself.

u know, most drum companies use tension rods now, so im pretty sure if u can hold ur drink wit somethin like a cowbell holder an hook it up, it could probably work

That looks awsome Larry and thanks for a great review of the rack! I plan to eventually get a rack for my kit and i might just go with the DW rack. For now i'm pretty well satisfied with what i have.

And that is what counts most of all. If you are happy then all is good

Great review. I just bought one of these used, and I prefer it over the Gibraltar I used to have.
