Default Slingerland Snare Test

Ok, we haven't determined if this an actual Slingerland snare, but here's a short video, I think it sounds great. I'm also trying a new double pedal, I put a coated ambassador on the batter side of the kick with a felt strip across the head and a fiberskyn resonant head. I'm trying for that "vintage " sound. Tell me what you think.

I like it a lot. Fat and crisp. Very responsive. A nice ring and ooooh, nice contrast to the bass drum. I'd say it's a keeper!

Both drums sound really nice. I especially like the nice open sound of the kick. Haven't we come a long way since the no front head, big pillow sound?
Nice drums and playing. John

Fat sounding, definitely reminds me of Rufus Jones' drum sound a bit. I'm jealous of your rudimental skills too, great video all round.

You snare sticking is awesome man. I love when you just do the snare stuff with bass drum accents. Cool as heck.
