Default What sticks do you prefer?

i'm a snare drummer and for drumline ive used tom aungst's signature, ralph hardimons signature, scojos, (Vic Firth ones btw) i also like the ms3. ralphies or ms3 are probably my favorite to play with. what about you?

Ive used Scojos, Ralph Hardimons, Ms4's(vic firth) System blues(promark) and some FS-JC,AS-TF's.

I really dig the System Blue line by promark. But while I was marching in OMB we used ScoJos, so I've been using those for the past several months.

Its been a good 7 or 8 years since I was in marching band, but we used the Ralph Hardimons, great sticks! I still have the pair I marched with.

are the promark system blue sticks good? ive been trying to get some to try them out but they are nowhere and i'm too impatient to buy them over the internet. would it be worth it?

VF american classic 5a/ vater los angeles 5a.....same stick, both nylon tip. good sticks right there.

They were one of my favorite pairs. Also internet shipping is like 5 days, 2 weeks max which still isn't bad considering you've been looking for them and haven't found a pair yet.

I always liked a 2B stick ( nylon tip ) for marching.

Sometimes the cymbal player would hold out one for me to ride, I prefer the sound and response from the nylon tips.

When I was in the Auburn University Marching band and a member of the drum section we used Pro Mark 3S. Those were some heavy duty sticks.
We would have a stick party every Friday night before the games and sand, paint and tape our sticks. Auburn Drum Line!! Major SEC College Drum Line!! War Eagle!!! whoops, I get carried away sometimes with the college football and my alma matta.

I like a nice balanced hard wood 5B stick for the set.
