Default tom mics

ive been using one mic for both toms but i see many drummers using a mic for each tom. my questoin is, do you think it matters or not. i like the sound i get when i go out front

who knows....there are so many things that effect the sound...so as long as 1 mic does the job 4 u then i wouldn't worry about it

i agree, if your getting what you need from one mic for both toms, don't mess with it.
