yea the stuff he plays isnt too comlicated. if he is masking his skill, hes doing a great job. otherwise i think people make to big a deal out of him...although i do like me sum transplants

i agree. hes very cool. i just think hes such a big deal because of the bands he drums for.

If you can find drum solos on the net and compare Barker to others, you will soon see that Travis is not in the class of "Great" drummers. He is a hard hitter and showman. IMO, Joey Jorgenson of Slipknot is a much better drummer.

Well 2 be honest he's pretty amazin i mean sure listen 2 the stuff he plays but have u heard or seen him solo! Total different matter

Ive watch him solo and when looking at the big picture of all time great drummers he is not in there with them. Sure he is a very good drummer for his music and way better than me for sure. But start looking at other drum solos from the greats and you will see that Travis is not in the same league as them. He is a hard hitter with flar. Good grove but seems to go off some and then comes right back with the same groove. But yes, he is still a very good drummer, I just feel he is overated to some degree for the wrong reasons.

i reakon the matarial he comes up with is pretty amazing.. i mean and if uve seen his work on a snare drum alone ull aggree he is my defination of "AMAZING" in fact go to "youtube" and type in travis barker. or somthing like that... i think theres him with a snare there..

my mate wants me to solo as good as him. i dont think id beable to do it.
