Hey thanks Scorch. My kick reso with the Yamaha logo is under my bed. One of these days I'll cut a bigger hole in it to accommodate the KickPort.

I actually like the logo-less front head look. A frosted Evans reso with a matching port would blend nicely with the rest of the kit:

How do you like the Kick-Port and do you use live mics with it?

I like the KickPort and if nothing else it is a bullet proof replacement for the foam ring that came with my kick reso. I want to say I have noticed a small improvement from my side of the kick. My port is not in the ideal spot per the instructions that came with the KickPort. My head was already ported so my location choice was already made.

We started using mics on my drums at church for recording. We have only tried it twice now and I haven't been able to hear an good recording yet.
