Playing at a local festival with a group I play in!
Sitting poolside at my buddy's house, BBQ'n some teriyaki chicken along with some pork Korean Shish Kebabs and lighting fireworks when the sun goes down.......
Happy 4th!!
I have gigs.
Nothing says the 4th of July like good 'ol Alkee-hawl and explosives! When a redneck says, "Hey ya'll, watch this!".... RUN!
Staying at home with the family, BBQing a big tri-tip, and trying to prevent my dog from having a heart attack when the neighbors start lighting off all the illegal fireworks they bring home from Nevada every year. I really hope this thundershirt I bought for my dog, works.
my band plays saturday night.
Just did a patriotic gig tonight. It was out door and we got about half way through it before it started to sprinkle and we got a lot of lightning. Made me nervous being around all that metal.
Two different agency gigs. One on Friday ...an hour away, and one on Saturday.
But the venue on Saturday, just around the corner from my home, is right across the street from a big Major League Baseball SPRING TRAINING Stadium - and they are having a huge fireworks show. We'll have a nice crowd afterwards.
My 14 year old son will be running the light show for the first time. He's stoaked.

Just chillin' at home. I've seen enough fireworks for 2 lifetimes.

Going to a MASSIVE flea market in my home town. A Blues duo that opened for us a few weeks ago is playing at a BBQ place there, so we're going to support them, eat some BBQ and then scour the flea market for things I can make (A) drums, or (B) cigar box guitars out of. I'm sure a few ice cold brews with infiltrate the schedule as well!

Play the SONG......not the DRUMS!!!
"I think that feeling is a lot more important than technique. It's all very well doing a triple paradiddle - but who's going to know you've done it? If you play technically you sound like everybody else. It's being original that counts." ~ John Bonham

My wife is out of town until Sunday, so it's just me, my daughter and the zoo here at the house. Tonight, however, is poker night! Brews and chips will be flying.
I just want to wish everyone a Happy and safe 4th of July. I ask very respectfully that every one out here on the west coast to please, be very, very careful if you're lighting off fireworks tonight. I guess that could apply to everywhere there is drought. Thanks guys! Be safe and have a blast!!
We actually got back home last night from a Florida vacation with 2 of my granddaughters.
We left last Sunday and came home yesterday. Had a wonderful time and was much needed!
I got home yesterday to my new from Bish double pedals and today I am setting them up! I am so happy and excited about trying them out!
Since we ate fresh seafood for a solid week, I'm having hamburgers on the grill tonight and can't wait!!
Take care and seeya!

Turned out to be quieter day than I thought. Fun was had by all. No serious problems. Actually a couple of gals from Texas blew a motor. Oh well. C'est la vie! LOL
