When you are down, find a way of helping others. You can't be focused on helping others, and be thinking of your own troubles at the same time.
Here are some quick tips on giving. Determine what you can do or how you can help give back to the world.
To give is extremely rewarding. You get so much back in return.
Start off by doing a selfless act of love and care for someone else. Eventually you will be doing it out of your own, and you shall see that Giving makes miracles happen.
Not sure if it counts, but when I was food shopping the other day I donated $15 to the cancer foundation. The cool thing about it, and I really think this goes along with the 'rewarding' bit is that they took that $15 off my groceries. Which is really cool to get a writeoff, but I mean it's not like I saved the money. It just went towards something awesome, and i'd be happy to do it again anytime. Spread the love..

Claire Winelad is 13 years old. She has a way of putting things in perspective. Here's a girl who has had more surgeries than she can count, was in a coma last year for 17 days, has an awareness of her deadly disease and still has an incredible attitude. She filmed this short video just before going back to ICU (where she is now).

An excellent video Drummer! I like that she stated the importance of gving yourself a deadline to work toward.
I give any chance I get. rides to walkers in the rain, a kind word to a hurting soul, words of encouragement to one who needs it!
