That one drummer showing the Bonham licks (Brian Tichy) hosts the Bonzo bash every year which showcases a bunch of drummers playing Zeppelin songs on an exact replica of bonhams set. Very cool.
Anyone know anything about Brian Tichy? Seems like a very good player.

^^Man, talk about driving the beat.
That isolated track ( carouselambra) , is when his drums sound best. I love the sound of the drums on that song ( album ). Its also cool the way he goes around the drums on that song. He does it so fast but yet even and hard. I dont know how he does it. He also does it on the song acchiles last stand. Then again, thats why we love Bonham.
found this for laughs...Ha ha ha

Love the mash up!!
Actually, I like his beat as much as Porcaro's. Obviously he left a few things out and it's a bad mix.
Too heavy on the drums. Bonham was a very good drummer, but he never would have been known as John "Lightfoot" Bonham.
Is there a complete version of that on the album?

John Bonham was a great drummer, and I like his drumming. But, not to disillusion anyone, he did not create the drum lick he plays on Good Times, Bad Times. (the triplets with the partial bass drum triplets) Actually, he got it from Carmine Appice https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lQbzIzlfack.

I am not so sure that is Bonzo, fills seem too predictable...
I was just looking at some old footage of Paul McCartney's Rockestra T.V. special and I was surprised to see John Bonham playing one of those weird Staccato drum sets.Thought he was Ludwig all the way.
I was sure a little when I found out too.

WOW hard to believe he was like 20 when he did this, The best of all time IMO.

20? Wow! ... I know I wasn't playing that flawlessly at 20.
Good Times Bad Times. First Led Zeppelin album, first song. Their talent at the forefront of the production.
