Also simple but a time saver on set-up is the quick release hi hat clutch.

This goes back much longer than 10 years.
TOM MOUNTS! Ludwigs sucks and Pearls suck. Come April, I will be on DC for 12 years and in that time nobody has made mention of the Slingerland Set-O-Matic holding a 14x10 tom on my Ludwigs and has been doing so for 50+ years.

I think the plastic cymbal sleeves to prevent key-holing. Although that may go back longer than 10 years. Also the hideaway boom cymbal stands.

Yeah, some of these go back beyond 10 years but wow, I never thought about how valuable the hideaway booms are in cymbal stands. Amazing what we take for granted. That was a great invention!
