Having dealt with musicians for roughly 45-50 years, I have come to the firm conclusion that the majority of them need to spend some time at a mental institution for the musically deviant. This includes, but is not limited to, singers, guitar players, and (surprise) drummers.
I have tried to find out why this affliction seems not to affect bass players and keyboard players who (by everything I have seen) have discovered how to be "mellow", and can sit and watch the lunatics, mainly the aforementioned singers who cannot hold a note for more than .3 seconds, yet act like they have the "cool" that Sinatra had. Guitar players who think they are Segovia but can't get out of 1st position, and, of course, drummers. All 1 has to do is watch the beginning of 2001 and it becomes self-explanatory.
Having spent the better part of 10 years in mental institutions (some misguided people refer to it as marriage) probably explains why I require an IV of scotch every day.
Hahaahha. My bass player and guitarist at my last gig.....and last gig with them.
Sheesh I almost thought this would have been from my gig.
oh man that's epic
Do they play punk rock?
I was glad to learn that he later apologized.
