Shout out to Roc N Soc Customer service!
I bought my roc N soc hydraulic throne in 2011 and noticed last month it started to slowly lower when playing for about 10-20 minutes. Eventually it would lower all the way down. Called Roc n soc cs and they asked me to take the stand off flip upside down and send them a few pics.
Sent pics the next day and they got back to me the same day and said I needed a new clutch $15 shipped. I paid it and received my clutch 3 days later. Installed it in 15 minutes and throne is like new again.
I have tried all different kinds of drums, cymbals, sticks etc, hell I even own a gibraltar ahead glide throne and it just sits in the corner looking pretty but the one true piece of equipment that has never been topped and I doubt ever will is my Roc N Soc hydraulic throne. A great throne and even greater customer service! Kudo's!!

Awesome information and an awesome throne. I have 3.

I must be the only 1 who isn't thrilled with the hydraulic R&S. I have both seats and could never get comfortable on either of them.

You're not alone. I sold mine. Never liked the way it felt. Different strokes...

Both my son and I love the Roc N Soc hydraulics. Most comfortable throne I have sat on. Have 1 on each of our kits.

I was one of the 1st endorsers of roc n soc thrones since 1994-1995...when legs were those plastic 5 piece spread ...w/ saddle seat...leg busted cuz god daughtersa dad picked stool up to move da seat..against my warning ,,,never carry by top of seat,,it busted & non repairable so now .... Have metal leg/hydraulic saddle seat ...(home stool kit) & round metal threaded seat for stage (backs are invaluable ..& i dont leave home without em....) groove dat ...true dat !!!!

1st endorser, wow that's cool Phrogge! Sorry it busted. I sold mine. I was never a fan of the hydraulics and I didn't like the weird seat shape. I could never get comfortable on that thing. I went back to the basic round seat and regular height adjustment stool. Haven't changed since.
Re: Shout out to Roc N Soc Customer service!
Drummer i have never liked hydraulics & always stayed with threaded pole adjustment...& even fortunate to have a fella give me da newer fold up metal bottom...i kept complaining (to myself) i didnt like circulation bein cut off @ sciatic points...so finally as a birthday present ...wife bought me a round seat...& after a bad experience w/ a local music store...found da proper conncting piece on ebay for $5 and was able to connect a seatback to roundseat ...and been lovin it all over again ( i still use old seat for practice area ...)...my loyalty to my love of "certain products "roc n soc thrones " now finally "paiste cymbals "aq/ahead drumsticks / sweet spots drum dampners" / & of course my love & honor to the great roy burns ...the phroggetastic aquarian drumheads...!!!!!!
