getting ready for tryouts
So I am trying out on tenors at school. I am normally a snare player but want to play tenors this year. can anyone recommend some exercises to get me up to speed with tenors. I have three weeks till tryouts and I really need to work on sticking my diddles. any recommendations?

Check out Quad Logic by Bill Bachman. That book is every quad player's bible, and it has helped me immensely.

Quad logic is where it's at. I'd also heavily suggest Nick Werth's website if you are more advanced. Anything you can find on youtube by Bill Bachman will help a lot. Just focus on the basics and make sure your left hand looks as natural as your right, especially if you are used to snare.
