Born Michael Lee Aday, MeatLoaf had a stellar career spanning six decades after shooting to fame with his powerful, wide-ranging voice.
The rock veteran was among the most popular musicians of all time, selling millions of albums around the world.
His Bat Out Of Hell album trilogy - famous for its operatic rock style and the hit single of the same name - was his most popular release.
US news outlet TMZ is reporting that MeatLoaf died from Covid-19 after falling ill earlier this week, although their claims have not yet been confirmed by his family or representative
I remember when "Bat out of Hell" came out. It knocked a lot of people on their butts. I, and a lot of people I talked to over a lot of years call it 1 of the best albums of all time with "Paradise by the dashboard light" pure genius.
R.I.P. MEATLOAF
R.I.P. Michael. Your music will live on.
FYI: I just merged these two threads since it was the same topic. Thx!
RIP Meatloaf...
He made some pretty good rock for a "Theatre Guy".
