I'm going to go against Alpha's. I own an 18" crash and it sits on the shelf. I thought it sounded good until I brought home some higher end crashes. When I got it, all I had as a crash was a B8 thin...

I should have posted my budget. I'm looking at spending around $300. The sound I'm looking for is a higher pitch crack with a lot of overtone ring to it. Brass was my first thought, but a good one...

Sometimes it's not the material, but the shape. I like nylon tips, but a round smaller tip will give a great ping on a ride. I looked around at a lot of different sticks until I found the ones that I...

Try the 20" AA Medium Heavy ride. I have it and it has great stick definition and some good wash. Plus it makes a great larger crash. Go and try one out, you may be very happy with the outcome.
I'll add another here for wuhan. I have an 18" and it has a very quick attack and quick decay. If you are wanting something with a longer decay look at the zildjian oriental classic. It sounds pretty...

Hey guys and gals,
I have a question about the angle of the bearing edge of our drums. I know there are 30 and 45 degree angle edges, but are there more? What sounds or different sounds are...
