    Re: Finally

I love playing pool. I envy folks who have pool tables at home. I spent so much time during my youth at the pool halls but never got good enough to enter tourney's.

No. The GTS rim mounts do take away from the look of the kit especially in chrome but a greater concern of mine how heavy those things are and how that effects the resonance of the shell as it hangs...

I prefer having the ride down low over the floor tom to keep my elbow in and my wrist relaxed. I have a 3 up 2 down set up too but with 8, 10, 12, 14, 16.

Re: BIG drums , BIG cymbals or ?

I went to a Jeff Hamilton jazz clinic a few months ago and he plays a bop kit with a 18" kick, 12" rack tom and 14" floor tom but his crash cymbals were actually ride cymbals (20" and 22"). His...

Excellent point MDK. Cymbal stands always come with some type of plastic sleeve. It must be "bean counting" to save on labor costs to have somebody machine off the threaded section before the...

Welcome to the forum eheller! You are correct sir! Rim clicks (not cross sticking) as seen on this Carl Perkins video when he made an appearance on the Perry Como Show. Watch the drummers left hand...

    Threaded vs Non-Threaded HiHat Clutch

After swapping out a pair of hihat cymbals on a Yamaha HS650A hihat stand, I noticed the threads under the felt hihat washers on clutch were worn down and stripped which led me to further inspect the...
  20. Re: Aquarian’s Quality Control & Customer Service

I had the EC2s on the DW kit. Toms sounded choked up. Took them off and went back to stock heads for a bit.
This showed up on my front door when I got home from work. It’s from Aquarian. Fast!
