    Re: Not Happy

I had and old 16" crash that did the same thing. I was able to stop the crack from growing by drilling a small hole at the end of the crack. Got may more years out of the cymbal after that.

Thomas Lang is an amazing drummer. I saw him in clinic a few years ago and got to chat with him a bit afterward. Very Nice guy. Check these videos out.

    This is very frustrating

It seems like I've been trying for years to get my chops back in top form and well , I have. The problem is I'm older now and the work I do for a living has taken a toll on my body. I also put some...

    Re: 5 Years

Well as a young drummer I was greatly influenced by the Music of Rush and drumming of Neil Peart. There's the NP.
And here is the YYZ one of their songs.

One day I came home and sitting on the kitchen table was a DW Edge Neil Peart Signature snare drum. My wife bought it for me just because I'm a Peart fan, and at the time I was building my Rush...

Re: I want acoustic drums...wife says NO!

    Re: Hardware cases

I always made my own hardware cases. 3/4" plywood , metal corners, and I put wheels on them. If you're moving your equipment in a car this method probably won't work out though.
