    Snare Drum

Hi guy's. Looking for some advice about a new snare. I'm looking for a nice Brass snare 6.5 x 14. I want a deeper fat sound. Would a Maple snare in that size be better? or would the Brass snare do?...

I just bought a DW 9000 Low Boom stand for my ride. It's perfect. Extra heavy duty and manuverable.

Re: Vibram 5 Finger drum shoes?

I couldn't stand wearing those between my toes. I use Onitzuka Tigers. They have thin soles and fit great. I can feel the pedals very well. They were used in the olympics by runners. Great shoe.

Vic Firth "Zorro" signatures. Great balance, length and the tip creates great ping sound.

    Re: new KICKPORT

I have one and it's great. Gives the kick fantastic projection. You don't have to put anything on the inside of the kick to muffle it either. Try it.

    Re: throne mishap

Take a look at the Carmichael throne. Don't know if you have back or rear end problems, but if you do, this would be the throne to help.
