Maybe not on "brilliant" cymbals but it works on really, really, old, tarnished, finger-print ridden Zildjians for the last whole bunch of years....:dancing:

Nearly any metal polish will work on really ugly cymbals. Prepare to use a lot of elbow grease!(no, that's not a household cleaning agent but it is a household cleaner!) example is Brasso.
