I used a regular drill bit to start a hole in the center of the broken bolt shank, then used an EZ Out, which is basically a left-handed drill bit, to extract it.

It was too tight to tap. I went full boat. I drilled it, and used an EZ out. Only broke one drill bit in the process. Lol

Well, being that I DO have the suspension mount, and I DON'T have a spare snare stand, I'll most likely go the suspension route. Thanks for your input guys!
