I used to love the sound of concert toms.
I still wanted the bottom rim on for looks, so I just took an old used head and cut out most of it so the rim would still fit nice and snug.
I love to close the door in my drum room, turn up the tunes and beat my
brains out with nobody watching.:icon_mrgreen:

I have two Yamaha surround systems with sub woofers, they sound great.
One in the family room hooked up to the TV and turntable and one in the drum room for my head set.
