I know Sabian has a stencil kit available for their cymbals, but I'm wondering does any manufacturer or company make a stencil kit to customize cymbals? :think:

I didn't intend to buy it, but once I saw it at the local shop, I was hooked. It's has a little weight on it too, about 13 lbs worth....:boom-crash:

I agree with the rest of the guys lubricating the pedal with 3 in 1 oil, but you could also try silicon spray....

I read a post, I believe on this forum a couple of weeks ago, about a stick doing what you describe. When the grain of the wood was examined against another stick, it was shorter and appeared dry...

Just like anything else, the more you practice, the repetition with proper technique the better you'll get. Just relax and have fun with it....
