CRAZY KIT. But I agree with KYLE. Makes me dizzy!
I have an inverted e-kick ( beater goes down ) but I haven't used it since I switched to Acoustic.
I like DeeDubs Gibraltar design. I think Pearl has one like it, but their Super Grip looks more stealthier. Both of these would be great for me. I was using a DW drop for several years, then lately I...
Getting back in a band again after many years, and groovin rehearsal till the cops shut you down! lol
I agree, the yamaha 3 looks good and has now got me thinking of a way to eliminate one of my stands as well. Nice kit Mr B!
What temperatures and humidity limits are there for acoustic kits? I had to move my kit from my 2nd bed room to the Florida room for rehearsals. In case you don't know, a Florida room is also called...
I'm a firm believer in hickory.
I think your going about it wrong. If you want to "SAMPLE" each drum to mix them together then you really looking into a drum/sampler machine. Then you take that and your DAW to use those samples...
Just ordered a kickport the other day. Hopefully this will give me the punch I've been looking for in my 22" Pearl export.
To practice more and get into a actual full time band! Or get a real job! lol!
Back in the 70's I studied Ginger Baker. He had an afro-syncopation that worked well into my playing style along with Bonham. I played most all of the popular Cream tunes including the Toad. Great...
lol! Hey their website is FULL of vintage pictures! :boom-crash:
Absolutely amazing! Doing any DT takes endurance and stamina to say the least! Great job!
I have a pair. They are 13.5" and sound GREAT! However they are not so great for heavy metal tunes. I got an X-hat and a pair of Zildjian 14's for that, but pretty much everything else they work...
Stay in the band and practice more. if the band boots you no big deal. then practice even MORE! In the mean time go to you tube and look up some lessons on stuff you feel you need and practice them....
http://www.kennellykeysmusic.com/ludwig-l351th-wide-saddle-style-drum-throne.htmlI can't believe no has said anything about the Ludwig saddle seat! Looks and feels just like the RnS and yes I owned...
Love the shot of the port hole! NICE :-)

I'm going to try it with a 8" tube sub-woofer and a few 10k resistors. I'll let you know how it goes.

John went to visit his 90 year old grandfather in a very secluded, rural area of Georgia.
After spending a great evening chatting the night away, John's grandfather prepared...
I got a black stain on my Zildjian 20" ZBT ride. I can't seem to get it out. I Used the spray once and found it streaks and never really gets in the grooves. I might try the Barkeepers friend idea. I...
Don't worry! It happens to ALL of US! Some days are good and some not so good. The off days I look at some drum lessons on the tube and it helps inspire me.
I got a pair of 13.5" MS. I find them brighter than the new beats. If you play jazz or anything but heavy metal alt rock, the master sounds are great! But they're not cheap either!
There is a plastic lock or cap on the hydraulic? I know when putting chairs together that there used to be a shipping lock on the hydraulic part so you don't hurt yourself when putting it together.
