Sticky: Re: So what drum related stuff did you do today?

Finally fixed my crappy Alesis DM10 Mesh Kit today. The connections I swear are made out of hairs, they are that thin. No wonder they break a lot! Good job I can solder hair.................

    Re: Not Happy

Just got the MDD's last week. so far really enjoying them. Have tried to set them up as close to the feel of the 9000's that I can :) The Trick Shaft on the 9000's absolutely transforms them.

For the hi-hat you will need a "Drop Clutch" I use one of these & they are great :) https://www.gear4music.com/Drums-and-Percussion/Pearl-HCL-205DQR-Rapid-Lock-Hi-Hat-Drop-Clutch/1WTQ

If you get the geared version like the one pictured above the you will never get "Tom Dive" again as they will be fixed in place :)

My old Export kit. Bought new in 1988 & then sold 2015. Never once let me down & was thrown off stage a few times. :punk:

Kit looks great :) Move the bloody band name banner though from the front of them. That would do my head in :icon_eek:
