Trying to decide on a new throne

Drummers, if you were going to purchase a new drum throne would you get the Roc N Soc Nitro Base Original Seat Drum Throne or the Ahead Spinal G Deluxe Drum Throne, and why?

Just ran the serial number on it. It appears to be a 1983 model.

    Re: Which compact Drumset?

I have a Ludwig Breakbeats kit - 14 inch snare, 10 and 13 inch toms, 16 inch kick - that I use for such occasions. It is great for smaller gig locations, rehearsals, etc.

    New snare drum day

A local drummer decided to let this go at a very reasonable price, so I jumped on it.

    Re: OT: Post Covid19 ?

We are in a fickle time period, for sure. In my area the only bar gigs are jams, and a few lucky bands from the jam get to perform at the local yearly festival. There are some street parties as well,...

I'm glad I took the plunge and purchased them. They are some great sounding cymbals, for sure.
  15. How is everyone holding up? What are you working on during this downtime?

How is everyone getting through this “social distancing” conundrum that we are all facing? What are you doing to keep your chops up as we go through this?

Re: We got signed for a cool gig in June

Found out today the headliner is requesting the opening acts use a backline, so I don't have to haul as much stuff now. All I'm required to bring is a snare, kick pedals, and my sticks.
