    Re: Rogers Tom buzz

Here's a couple of suggestions I found pertaining to the Rogers tom buzz which seems pretty common:

The hinged area is metal on metal. If it is, open it up and straighten out the piece of flat...

    Re: Nightmare room Saturday night

Good thread. Chalk this one up as a great learning experience for you as the sound guy and as the drummer. As you alluded to, every room is different . If you sub-mixed your drums as you usually do,...

    Re: Stage Drum Mixer

I mentioned bleed over from other mics on the kit can make the the mixing on stage a challenge if you're not familiar with using gates on each channel or if you have phase cancellation issues with...

Re: Opinions on my first drum set?

Welcome to the forum. The Tama kit in question looks great. I think it would make a great starter kit. But as others have posted, the used market for drums and cymbals is a buyers market right now....
  12. Re: Attended Todd Sucherman's Master Class last evening

I attended one of Todd's regular drum clinics at Sacramento State a few years ago and he's a great clinician. I'll be on the lookout for the Master Class if he ever passes through my town. Thanks!

    Re: Stage Drum Mixer

Sorry for the double post but in hindsight, you might want to also invest in a sub-snake to the sub-mixer. I have 8 channels (mics) that run into a sub-snake (circled in yellow) that runs all 8 lines...

    Re: Stage Drum Mixer

    Welcome to the forum 0127frey.

Sub-mixing drums on stage can get tricky. If you're planning on micing every piece on your kit, sound bleeding into the mics that are in close proximity to each...

Re: First gig with the Tour Customs

Nice pocket Mark! I like the snare too. One suggestion, I'd tune your bass drum slightly higher than where the bass guitar sits in the mix. It sounds like you guys are playing in the same low end...

Re: MDK's revolving drum kits saga continues.
