Yea better put.
I get what you're saying. I still prefer resonant heads.
I understand that it's not the same. My point being, that it seems rather silly to do so. Even money wise, it would be better to leave some old worn out resonant heads than none. To each his own.
Meh to me it seems like playing a guitar with only 3 strings. I just don't like it.
I once talked to the drummer of this band i went and watched. He had a different bass drum than the rest of his kick. I asked him about it, and he told me the original bass drum had warped from the...
I like both. Nuff said.
Good groove + chops. Don't say you're never going to be that fast or you won't. Why does everyone use metal for the sole example for speed?

Woot, 1 cymbal per drumchatee. Works for me!
Toss Panos has an amazing feel.

you too huh?
I got like a 4 pack with a vater practice pad. Half the pack were bent. They're cheap for a reason.
That's basically my setup, but backwards. Main thing i would do is move the mounted tom a little closer in and bring the crash cymbals down some more.
SKII + Kickport = Nuff said
My local music store uses a peavy kit for lessons. They sound pretty good if you ask me.
