Re: On the importance of recording

I have hours of current audio recordings of my drumming but nothing new on video. You make a great point. I should record more videos of my drumming.

    Re: Cleaning "brilliant" cymbals

I've used Sabian and Zildjian polish and Paiste's polish/sealer (two separate bottles) and gotten the same results when I used polish I buy at the auto parts store (NevrDull). The orbital buffer...

  9. Re: Aquarian’s Quality Control & Customer Service

  14. Re: Rearranged drum room to spark some motivation

Did more organizing and cleaning and managed to squeeze out a few more feet of space to set up all three kits. The DW and Gretsch are mounted on racks. Although I favor the look of cymbal stands, in...
  15. Re: Aquarian’s Quality Control & Customer Service

I should of been more pro-active with customer service when I had QC issues with Remo and Evans a few years ago. Evans I heard is pretty good at resolving QC issues. Remo??

    The coating chipped...
  16. Aquarian’s Quality Control & Customer Service

The coating on the new 12” Studio X head chipped off after just one hour of playing. I was extremely disappointed as a result of this since the coated Super 2 heads I bought three years ago still...

Re: New Drum Heads Add Up to $1100+

The jury is still out on the non-ported DW stock head. I got a Audix D6 on the reso and a clear SKII on the batter but I'm not hearing the beater hit the head since the mic is not buried in the kick....
