    Re: Favorite or preferred snare

I opted to try out a 7x13 Pork Pie Little Squealer in satin black. Support provided by my guitarist's amp head. ;) I really like it so far.

Sticky: Re: So what drum related stuff did you do today?

I nabbed this drum kit for $150. A couple of the heads need to be replaced. But for a five piece Mapex, two stands, and a throne, I thought it was a great deal that I couldn't pass on.

    Re: Your ride cymbal!

Sabian 22" AA Rock Ride with hand hammered fabrication. Great sound, slightly trashy.

Sabian 24" AA Metal-X Ride. This thing is an absolute BEAST. I love the way it sounds. Got it at a musicians...
  11. Re: Hat size vs quality...are u married to your hat size?

I have a set of 13" AAX stage hats and 14" AA rock hats. No preference really. But I have an outdoor show coming up and I am probably going with the 13's. Those stage hats will really cut through.

    Re: some drum mic questions

I came across a good deal on some CAD DMYP's. Although I have only used them in the jam room, I am very pleased so far.

    Re: My sabian b8's

I have really enjoyed reading this thread :)

I like the b8's. In my opinion, it depends on the size of the room you are playing in. In smaller rooms (like a jam space or say a small coffee house)...

    Re: double bass pedal case

Definitely wanting a hard shell case of any kind. Never thought of a small suitcase. One thing I have learned. Stuff in cases loads, rides, unloads, and goes to the stage much easier.
