    Pearl Pedal spares HELP!

I've not played in ages. I'm sorting my kit and gear out so I can play again and find that my Pearl Powershifter Eliminator 2002 isn't working right. I need to find a replacement beater holder link;...

Re: What music are you listening to?

    Панихида by Krzysztof Drabikowski

This is the real follow up to Batushka's 'Litourgiya'. Massive dramas behind the scenes. This is a really good album. Eastern Orthodox influenced Polish black...

    Re: Hardware bag alternative

It's a Yamaha hi hat stand.
However, it's a bit of a moot point. I can't find any of these online in the UK. Surely there are alternatives?!

Gravity makes a similar product, and the 3 stand...

    Re: Hardware bag alternative

I'm loving the Gator bag. I'm in serious need of a new hardware bag/case. My Protection Racket 1st gen hardware bag (the "body bag") I have now is just awful. It's massive but has no solid bottom or...

Lots of new and interesting stuff on my playlist e.g Haraki for the Sky, Necrolytic Goat Convertor, Grey Heavens Fall, Der Weg Einer Freiheit,...
  6. Re: I ordered a new cymbal. The first in 6 years!

I have really missed playing. I'm currently looking for a band to play with. Nothing so far though as the local 'scene' is minuscule.
  7. I ordered a new cymbal. The first in 6 years!

I just ordered a Stagg Black Metal Bell (7" medium) from a local music shop. I haven't really been playing drums for a few years now but I'm getting back into it and decided to treat myself. Next...

Re: The:Covers by Famous Bands thread

Six Feet Under have 3 albums of covers; 'Graveyard Classics'. They also did some covers on their regular albums eg War Machine by Kiss. Awesome stuff with a bit of a sense of humour.

Have you heard Horrorpops, Necromantix or The Meteors? I'm a recent Rockabilly/Psychobilly convert myself.

Re: Wish I still had time to play.

I'm just coming out of a 4-5 year hiatus from drumming...or playing ANY kind of instrument.
Lots of stuff has happened in that time: Training to be a psych nurse, starting a family, losing my band...

Re: What music are you listening to?

Now this is refreshing....doesn't seem like too many people into extreme metal on the forum.

I'm currently listening to some Volbeat which the missus just bought.

It's ok as far as psychobilly...

Sticky: Re: So what drum related stuff did you do today?

Set up my Yamaha Stage Custom kit for the first time in maybe 4 years. I nearly didn't but the missus harassed me to do it. My 2 year old daughter absolutely loves the kit. She has her little toy kit...

  15. Re: How long have you been playing drums?????

I kinda 'fell into' playing drums at around 10-11 years ago. We had no drummer so as bass player, I stepped up and learned that I could play ok for what we needed. I haven't played my kit in close...

  20. Re: ...is like wearing somebody else's underware

Poll: Re: Direct vs. chain pedal

My Pearl Powershifter Eliminators were originally Belt drives. I snapped the belt however and replaced them with chains. That changed them a lot.
