I wondered about that. Kind of a shock for a first timer I would think. His hearing might be a little more acute.

I think this is the best story I've seen on the internet in a long time. WTG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What did he think?
I think you just sang the entire song by stating the title. Tell him you'll be ready when you learn the snare riff in the middle. ;)
Thanks for your answer. That was mine, too. haha
Great. Wish it a rockin' start!
I have a similar story to share that just occurred late last week. I didn't want to flood your thread so if you don't care here's a link or have drummer just delete...
Like Richardo, like the Bish
Drought or flood? Drummer timing or lack of?
Currently I'm between projects since the casino band got lost on itself.
This week two interesting events occurred, ...
Thanks. Even better in person as can be said for most finishes reproduced in pics.
A day. I bought it all at once from a dealer out of Canada. Original owner bought it all and never played it. Put it on consignment and being a Yammy fan, I couldn't resist.
Already sold the 18" bass drum. Price is now 6800.00.
:)
Yes, did you have a question? lol
When the music started, you were motionless. I thought it was just a picture and then you started playing...Well Done!
And we only know it because we have survived all the chaos and nonsense so far. Not to mention health issues that pop up. Why, just the other day... Shoot, I forgot what I was going to say.
Another - all the drums you'll ever need for any occasion. lol

Make sure you get a bacon double cheeseburger with those fries. Then you'd have to add a large choco-milk shake to top it off. Now we're jamming.
I have no idea what I am talking about.
I'll...
Sounds like things are ramping up. I can feel the excitement building. YEEEEHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Check the tension before swapping. My B/B came in tuned up like no other. I'm still chasing that sound. DOH
Oh, no doubt. All of my have backrests, too.
I'm all about the RocnSoc tractor style with back rest and hydraulic lift. Is 3 enough? lol
Great snare drum. I had the 14" model. Sad that I sold it but I'm hoping it's getting some play time. lol
They are set up even today. What I found was I can take a clamp and clamp my mic stand to the roto stand. It works better than expected.

Ah the awareness of what subtle changes can do. What you might do is start with both heads (of your choice) and bring them up slowly and find the sweet spots of the shell. I know snare sound is so...
Sounds like a fun project. Can't wait for pics.
Great Story. Thanks for sharing.
Sounds like you got yourself a really decent set up and as you may now recall...the fun begins with head swaps and possibly enjoying looking for more or newer...
