    Re: My Sharona

    Thanks guys.
Regarding the lack of energy by the others, well I'm guessing having only played the song live one time, they were concentrating on their parts.

    My Sharona

OK, here's my band playing My Sharona for only the second time. This is really a tough song, especially when you play it too fast, he,he.

    Re: Ludwig Black Oyster Pearl

I only have one kit, I sold these to pay for My Premier Signia kit.
I traded a Mapex Meridian birch for these. You see, I'm a drum illusionist, I only appear to have many kits, but like magic, if...

    Re: Made in...

You hit the nail on the head! I don't think it's a political issue at all, companies set up camp in China because of cheap labor....period.
My drums were made in England by an English company. How...

    Re: Premier Signia

Thanks, I'll try to get some close up shots. That is a laquer finish, not a wrap.
The drums are loud, especially the kick, like a John Bonham sound out a 22" kick.

    Re: Premier Signia

Thanks guys, the Premier Signia was the top of the line for Premier back in the 90's, they are 5ply maple shells with rings, made in England. They are the BEST sounding drums I've ever played. The...

Hello all, here is the Premier Signia kit in a white coral finish.
I bought the 10x12,12x14,18x22 for $500, the snare is a Mapex 8x14 Black Panther Big Cat. Thanks. ...

    Re: Sonor Sonic Plus Drums

Wow! Thanks for the info Russ. Unfortunately I could not get a hold of the seller again and the add was removed, so they must have gotten sold. Oh well, I had to settle for a 3 pc. $500 kit that I...

    Sonor Sonic Plus Drums

I have a chance to buy these drums for $500, I don't know much about them. The add said they are birch drums made in the 80's in Germany. The sizes are 9x12,10x13,16x16,16x22,6x14 in a natural...

    Re: Sonor 2007 Drums

They don't have any 3007 kits in stock. I don't really care about the rubber gaskets, every vintage kit I've ever owned never had any. I'm talking about the sound and feel of the drums.

    Sonor 2007 Drums

Well, I traded my Ludwig bop kit for a new Sonor Force 2007 in a piano black finish. The Sonor has a 12,13,16,22 and matching snare. After taking the kit home I noticed that the 16 had only six lugs...

    Re: Black or White Drums

Well, I've been thinking about trading the Ludwig black oyster pearl for this Sonor 2007 in a black laquer, 12,13,16,22,14, because I like the sizes. With my kit being a mixture of club dates and...

Does anyone else here like piano black or New England white drums, either wrapped or a laquer finish?

    Re: Ludwig Black Oyster Pearl

Yes, it's kinda of a strange kit though, with the 12 and 20 being a club date and the 16 being a classic maple, plus it came with a 70's Ludwig 9x13 tom that had been recovered in black oyster pearl....
