    I totally agree with you drummer. However, couldnt cool rudiments destroy a classic ac/dc song? Sometimes isnt the best rudiment just a basic 4/4 beat that goes well with the song?

    I think snare technique is very important. If you have good snare technique, you obviously have good stick control.

    I think Densmore is similar to ginger baker in a way. Listen to the drumming to “ touch me” and they are very similar although both truly unique.

    John Desmore— the doors

    I think John Desmore had a nice jazz type style and i enjoy his playing. He has some good licks. He really helped create a unique sound for the Doors. I like heavy rock but i totally dig the Doors.

    Ian Paice probably had the Best snare drum technique out of any rock drummer in history. He was a master on the snare drum. He was also/ is a huge proponent of rudiments.
