I have a 6x14 mapex phosphor hammered stainless steel. It's my primary snare. Got it for $120 used because guitar center didn't know what they had. Neither did the guy selling it apparently.

I like ec2s or g2s.

Clear g2s. I haven't had a lot of time on the kit since changing the jeads. G2s are definitely louder. More open than the ec2s.
