Re: anyone ever play and rmv kit?

    That would be awesome, I'd love to play a full kit. I've only seen a few kits and a snare or two floating around;

Re: 66 songs on one CD?

I think the 700mb is the key here. Thats a little over 10mb for each song if there is 66 songs

Awesome shells, no longer distributed in the US.

I think I heard something about the lugs being a weak point (some stories of broken ones)

Very nice kits, but they don't get a lot of...

Re: Speaking of No longer Available

Even with that, I think the price tag is why the line didn't survive. Looking on ebay a new 6 piece is priced right around $950 (3 up 1 down), while a new 5 piece Mars series is right at $600 (1 up 2...

I don't think ludwig has ever quite figured out the intermediate range kits. They have made some awesome kits, but never become known for their intermediate stuff.

Resonance is just part of the instrument. I suppose if you want to make it as low and lifeless as possible you could put evans hydraulics on top and bottom.

Re: Venues Switching your Playing times...?

Had this happen once at a battle of the bands. We were told we would be 3rd or 4th on. So we should have been on at roughly 6pm. Then at 3:45 the guy running the event rushes us to get on stage, it...

What kind of heads are you currently using?

Aquarian, Remo and Evans all make these type of rings, I have only used one on my snare during studio work and the answer is yes, it kills overtones....

    They were produced from 1994-2002.

The Radial Pro 751 (the kit I have) was in production near the final couple of years of the Radial Pro series.

What are the finishes of the kits? Cause thats going to be what this discussion boils down to.

I think the key here is that the floor tom is only 6 lugs. and the kick is only 8.

Slingerland would have 8 lugs on the floor, and kicks 22+ get 10 and 20 would have 8

My kit is a 12, 14, 16, 22. However the 14 is hanging and the 16 has legs.
