I hadn't played for almost 2 months so I figured why not play and record it.
It was worse than I had hoped for but better than what I expected.
I can get mine through the VA, but I believe that some of the chain stores have it for free.
Consider the shot Rick ( talk to your doctor 1st.) Believe me, you don't want this crap.
2 to 4 weeks is what it usually lasts. I'm hoping to get in under the 2 week mark.
I'll probably get the vaccine when this is over. No sense pushing my luck.
At least you got the vaccine. I saw the sign for the shot almost every day and ignored it.
Hate to read that. Sorry Rick.
I went through that in 1991. My best friend, bass player, and just an all around good guy.
Heart attack.............41 years old.
Thanks Kevin, I appreciate that.
It's a lot better than it was 5 days ago. Just keep in mind that if you had chickenpox as a kid, that virus is still in you and can pop up at anytime (usually...
For the last week I have been dealing with Shingles. It's caused by a virus that if you had chickenpox as a kid, can sit dormant in your system for decades. In my case it's been 67 years. Once...
Play along to Take 5.
I haven't touched my drums in about 6 weeks. That's par for the course.
" We're heading to Va Beach in July"
My youngest daughter lives in VB with her family. They have been there for almost 30 years.
Snow, Rick, did you say snow????? Surely you jest.
You should have taken the hint from your mother. I'm from Bayonne. Growing up in the '50's and '60's it was a nice place to live. After being gone for 4 years in the USAF with a side trip to the...
I'm the $4.98 man, available at K-Mart. Seriously, it was nowhere near as bad as I thought it would be. They sent me home with 90 Oxycodone pills and the container is still in the corner of my...
Right around this time 8 years ago (June 9th,2014) 2 doctors were ready to close me up when they realized that there were some extra parts laying around. Probably wound up on E-Bay.
They...
Maybe if we start putting some pics of the ladies, we might get more of a response.
I'm tired of going to DC, scrolling down to see if anybody else is here but all I see is that there are...
Thanks Rick, I appreciate that.
I was technically never shot but I did get grazed once. Medic said that if it was a 1/2" lower it would have shattered my shoulder bone and 1/2" higher...
78 years ago at just about 2:00 AM, the paratroopers were jumping out of their planes to start D-Day.
A young lady went to Normandy with a 101 year old man who made that jump into history....

This was not made for DC but for an friend of mine who would have played drums except for a hand that was hurt when he was a kid. I met him at a gig about 25+...
"you guys are great lol"
Yes, we are. I'm surprised that it took so long to realize it.
Could have used a little more drums, especially some double bass, and, jeez, could you try to get at least a little more emotion in there.
Come on Zack, that was like watching paint dry. ...
Back in the early '60's, there were battles of the bands a lot. Too young for the bars so what you had were church and school dances. They always took place in the schools because the schools had...

This is something that I did in my 1st couple of months in North Carolina before I moved my drums to the center of the wall and got rid of most of that echo. ...
