Re: Air hose safety clip on snare wires??

I agree, no Puresounds on any of my snares. I don't like the way they are designed. I'm old fashioned I guess, I have the string/twine waxed on all my snares. Don't care for the straps. Oh, well!

    One up Two down

I'm playing a gig/ party on the 22nd and I'm going to keep it somewhat minimal. Deciding on one of two kits this time. I'm leaning towards my Crush(excluding the 12" tom ) kit, just because I haven't...

And quite stupid! IMO. A dumb overpriced resonance lengthening gimmick that the average Joe blow wouldn't notice anyhow.

Re: Deeper sound from 5" snare?

I have one on my 13X7 Black Magic Ludwig and it didn't take the ring out of it. The HD dry I thought was better. Since the head is gray I did the RTD popsicle stick trick w/gorilla tape on both lower...

Poll: Re: Rack tom: suspended, or stand mounted?

To me, it's not about sound, it's about not having to carry an extra snare stand around! lol. 16X22, 9X10, 16X16. 15900
  15. Re: PDP Concept kick pedal and hi hat stand? Any opinions?

Mines a direct drive with modifications but I'm sure you'll be just fine! I put a Tama speed cobra spring on mine because I thought the stock spring was a little weak. Tama is a much heavier duty...

Picked up one of these. . . .I picked

I picked up a 16" lazy Suzan type spinning wheel platform for messing with my snares and whatnot. Only $25.00 so what the heck! I tune my new heads with a key and my index finger then I use a stick...

Because the remote HH has a cable naturally it's going to be a little stiffer resistance in feel but not enough to worry about. I like the HH more out front.

What I'm trying out on my Crush kit is putting the Hi-Hat more in front of me to avoid arm/ hand crossover. My hands are a lot more comfortable out in front of me! lol.15853 Wellcome back, stranger!
