    Me personally, I dont see the need of buying some expensive "cymbal" cleaner, I run a Detail shop and use Metal polish....takes the crud and mold off and leaves an awesome shine....not much elbow...

    I at one time had a B8 sabian 10" China splash, I loved this little guy, It fit in well with offbeat accents and blended with some crashes. Im not a fan of B8 cymbals, but they do the trick.

    I have to chime in here, Im a lefty also playing righty, (closed handed) I have sorta the same problem with my right hand I notice it rotates or swivles when hitting something....Not so much the hats...

    I have the same problem. Ive taken some duct tape and paper towel folded up taped these to the heads, changed the sound of the drum but did make them a little quieter. I also use a multi rod stick....
