thats a beautiful kit. very clean set up aswell :D
spaz the kit looks unbelievable absolutely gorgeous.
I think i'd get in trouble if i kept adding to mine..... I'm already in trouble for "too many guitars"
loved the look look of 1 up and 1 or 2 down. couldn't choose between them 2
decided to do something a little different with my drum kit and go for 1 up 1 down but with 14 and 16 toms

garage band is great, it does what you need it to. I used to use it for demos and when I didnt have my ilok for pro tools. Then upgraded to logic and now I don't even look at pro tools
very nice layout g-man
i think everyone can these days :D i'm trying to shrink my kit some more for the little bars and rooms we play at
thats a very nice and clean kit lukesplat
Yeah I've just gone from 2 up 2 down with offset toms to my current set up so its a bit more compact. I love having the ride over the kick its a lot better. I wouldn't know what to do with 3 rack...
Unfortunately they already had it made then I joined so they have it to me. It's still a nice present though
thanks bob it has to be theres not much space there :D
also im loving your DWs but i dont know if i could play the racks set up like that
thanks tex :D

Birds Eye of my new set up with my sample pad added to the set up :D
ive just changed my stage customs to 360 EC2s they sound brilliant and tune so quickly and easily
definitely this. great for the price
i have a 14" dream china that sounds beautiful. i've even ha cvomments asking what china it is as it sounds great
if you're going really cheap i've used Eagle mics before that do decent dynamic microphones for toms then SM57 on snare and Beta 52 for kick then some behringer c2s on overheads or get some nice...
a cheap 2 XLR channel USB or Firewire interface and a pair of Behringer C2 pencil condensers will cost about £100ish new cheaper second hand :)
i did it before in a practice room i spent about £30 on a tascam iXZ and used a cheap vocal mic plugged into it to record the drums :)
you can get a tascam interface for about £40 it that has a mic/di input on it that can then record into garageband. i use one with my iphone and it sounds great :)
get a M audio 2626 :) 8 inputs, firewire and you can daisy chain to another 2 for a total of 24 channels
either D112 or the D6 :) i voted D112 over the D6 just for its all roundedness you can cut frequencies out but you cant add them afterwards so it depends on the application :)
