The good old days when drummers couldn't afford a throne.

For outside in the heat,I made a throne out of a 5 gallon Thermos water dispenser.Just screwed an old padded seat on top.No running around to get a cold beverage.Fill with ice and drink of choice.

These old bones really appreciate the back.Also don't like the bounce of hydraulic's and they weigh a ton.

When I was in high school nobody wanted to ride in my car as I was blasting Miles Davis and Mahavisnu Orchestra.

A couple of years ago,I got a Tama First Chair for $40 used,in great shape, One of my better buys.

Trial and error.I go with the "I like it" method. I suppose you could make a digital profile of one you like and use that as a reference.

I think the 602's are kind of mellow, maybe a little dark.

Joe Morelo might have played Zildjians on Take Five but in the mid 60's Paiste had a 602 Joe Morelo signature series.

I've had a 16 in.602 since about 1970. Really like if's mellowness.

Just got another 60's 602. 19 inches of crashable goodness.

I have an old timey Blackrolite, great for cross sticking. With the adjustable muffler you can get a lot of different sounds.
