Mine does the same thing. I just tightened it with a drum key and pliers for leverage SUPER tight and it hasnt come undone yet
Yea dont try to keep them al the same volume, its tiring and it sounds robotic.

Im dont have too much in the way of cymbals but I spent hours getting a perfect sound out of my kick and snare and they sound fantastic.
That was a gravity blast but its been called a one handed roll. I saw a video of an actual one handed roll w/o using the rim lemme see if I can find it
Tuning the reso up sounds like a good idea. Im trying to stay away from moongels as much as possible though. Thanks for the advice all
