I won a pair of tickets, plus transportation, to see Arrowsmith. Joan Jett and the Blackhearts opened for them. It was a very cool concert.
Look at it like this: Study, get your grades up. Good grades=better job. Better job=more money. More money=better DRUM SET$$$
Heel/toe, both feet.
Sounds like a plan, the piano tuning thing.
I've never tuned to drum resonance, I just tuned to what sound I wanted, for the individual drum, but not losing sight of the overall effect. All a matter...

Good eye, my friend. EVERYONE can use a refresher course every now and again.
Gotta give the guy credit. He kept going as long as he could.

I generally don't go by names. I listen to them, as all cymbals are different. One Zildjian 16" crash does NOT sound like another Zildjian 16". Go by what sounds good to you, and will fit your style...
I've never had one that worked.
They're either too slow, or too fast.
So, Da Drummer Girl, what's you're favorite type? Which mallet do you use the most?
I subscribe to Drum, haven't seen the Modern Drummer yet, so I suppose I'll vote for Drum.
Just got a Pearl Roadster, motorcyle seat. First time for that type of seat, and I love it.VERY comfortable, great adjustment.
