    Thanks guys. Pillows, pillows, pillows. I have never owned a drum pad, whatever speed I have (or had, I was faster up to about 10 years ago) I got from playing on pillows.

    I bought that album when it 1st came out. Blaine had a set on wheels to move from studio to studio. I think it sold for $50K

    Most of the "rock" drummers of the '50's, '60's, and even into the '70's sucked. Hal Blaine, Mel Taylor, and Sandy Nelson were the 1's worth listening to.
