Now that 21" Mel Lewis ride, that i need..
I love Carters playing, and I love me some Agops - but none of these really do anything for me. Id probably take the 26" ride if someone gave it to me though!
Nothing to add other then the videos ive seen they sound amazing. Love the flat black finish. Nobody sitting in the audience at your next gig is going to say "It sounds like the drummer has an...
I'm going to see him in a few weeks cant wait. While I have no desire to have a kit that size, I feel the same way when I see a 4 pc kit as a lot of the old guys complaining about Bozzios kit do, but...
That is way cool. Love the riser.
21 posts in and not a single "Id hate to have to lug that around/set up/tear down" post? You guys are slipping.
My 91 Rockstar Pro came with those stickers for the toms back in the day...I was so bummed when I painted the kit and the music store said they couldn't order me those decals!
I had a "Limited...
The Partys Over
Great call on the Night Court theme!
I have it, not really a fan, and I love Ludwig snares. Just doesn't compare to my Supra, Black Magic, or even the Mapex Tomahawk that came with my Armorys. Nice looking snare, but, nothing special.
Mapex Armory, all day everyday. Truthfully everybody makes something great, try out different kits, to be sure, and then pick a color you like.
Ive been slowly getting rid of my Paistes for Meinls, but Ive had my 22" 2002 Ride since 1985 and I will never part with that.
Apparently he didn't teach him very much.
2,3,1. No idea which was which.
I've had mine for about 3 weeks now and absolutely love them. Sound great out of the box, sound even better with clear G1s imo.
I was planning on sending the snare back for the 6.5, but it sounds...
In 1991 I paid $2300 for a brand new 7 piece Tama Rockstar Pro kit - how times have changed...now you can get something nice for that amount of change!
Ah, I wish Id never gotten rid of mine. Cant help ya, since I dont recall how I used to tune it, just remember playing tapes of some gigs to my buddy Paul (also a drummer) and him saying "What snare...
Perfection!
Nice - congratulations! Those are great sounding/looking kits.
You could say that! Not much of a difference, but got my matching kick yesterday.

Awesome, congrats! What a great find - I dont think anybody makes that chrome wrap anymore.
Thanks man! Which snare did you get? I go back and forth between the 6.5 that came with the kit and the Black magic. I really cant say enough about the satisfying "thud" I get out of the 14x24.
I know the rack has to go as well, this kit would look so much better with stands.

I love em! I just scored a 2nd 14x24 kick off of Ebay, since you cant buy em individually, Ive been watching that site like a hawk. Now all I need is to find an 8 and a 13......not even sure if they...
Like everyone else said, you have to play both. But I love my Epics!
Got em at Wal Mart, no more than $40.
I use those headphones they use at firing ranges, and I love the sound they give you. I was looking for maximum db cancellation, and this is the best Ive found yet. Definitely kills the highs.
