that's pretty tricky. I know you said you got it, but i think the key is the two crashes coming out of that intro part. I never noticed how awkward that intro feels at first

If you haven't heard this "Songs for the Deaf" by Queens of the Stone Age you need to... it changed my life. The most inventive, expressive and functional drumming ever. Dave Grhol's drumming on...
I like what porkpieguy said...
I've played in churches for years and found that it's really about finding where you fit into the bigger picture of the worship team. Hotrods work, but they're no...
I have the same snare, same lever, and same problem. The snare is pretty good and I can't complain, very versatile.. However what happens is all the tension in snares are lost and it doesn't have to...
Xs20 cymbals are a great deal. I own an 18" crash and 18" china. Very durable, with good sound (though the china is really only so-so). the crash is awesome and incredibly versatile. But, if i were...
It seems that dropping the hats would be beneficial due to gravity straining on the spring, but i don't think it's much of a big deal either way, though I always release both. I think it's more...
You could always get a big crash (18 or 20") that can double as a washy ride and then just use a rock ride or something to get the pingy ride sound. It doesn't need to be a "ride" cymbal for it to...
I disagree, however i don't reccomend ZBTs. If you can afford it, ZXTs are not a bad choice. they have a very "cut through" trebble range, they're durable as hell and they're not super expensive. ...
It just has to do with the tuning and resonance in the drums. from my experience there isn't much you can do except play around with the tuning so that they don't have that effect. Also you can...
Hello all. Having been a drummer for quite some time now, it is my personal opinon that old and dirty cymbals sound better than new ones. When i've played on cymbals that are old and like turning...
4 piece nice finish, beautiful
Pretty cool. I'm not much into this kind of music, but it sounded good.
Just jam. get together with whoever you know who plays, or who has cool style and jam!! kick ***! i'm getting horny for jammin
dude, you *******! that's beautiful. I've wanted a set with this exact paint job since i started drumming!! I'm not sure about those coated iv's. but nice set
two months? hmmmm give it time son. If i were you i would just jam and get better and what not, i mean what's the rush?
Thanks guys, i got a cortisone/Novocain injection in one of my hands which really did a lot. I'm also in marching band, so i can't really "not drum". But i'll see what i can do. thanks
So I got tendonitits in a finger on each of my hands from playing the drums, and i know for sure that it's from playing the drums because i grip more with the fingers that have it. So my question...
Ya that was pretty offensive.
No offense, but in my opinion just about all 80s metal is just lame and cheesy, the hair/teeth bands, they're a joke. Metal is like 90's Pantera. But i do understand how the 80s stuff influenced...
Anyone who does not have them, should seriously invest in some. They're inexpensive, and they do make your drums sound cool, it's like a deep muffled sound, it's cool. I think they make like...
I agree Bob, i hate kits that don't show off the wood. That's what makes a set look nice.
I think i've played an 8" before, it was really a cool thing. It would add a lot to a set. I would also suggest the 9.5", have fun man.
Hey guys it's been over a year since i came on here, but my bass drum beater keeps coming loose from the pedal. Most people just think that the screw is just stripped and i know i can buy new ones. ...
I've got the set in the Red version. It's pretty nice. I need to try to tune them better though. I find that it's really easy to get a high end ring out of them, but that's the opposite of what im...
Also the rock rides work well. But then you cannot crash them, because with the ping also comes thickness i think... so if you attempt a crash it ends up sounding horrible.
