Save up and get a (used?) Yamaha LS9 16 or 32 Digital mixing console.
It has a usb port you can use to plug in a usb-stick to record the masters on (stereo).
Furthermore, you'll have all the EQ's...
Here in Belgium too :D

Another trick to keep them together is using the holding thing for the top disk of your hi-hats. I used to transport my cymbals that way before I got my cymbal case :)
Shure beta52 or AKG D112, on tighter budget, the PG52 also does a great job.
Pics or it didn't happen! :D
I don't really think anybody can do anything with that info. You either know the password, or you try to crack it in a totally different way. Guessing always fails.
(I only have experience...

You'll need to get rid of the Zildjian sticker on your BD reso though :)
PDP 805's are avaible in those sizes, with a 24" kick and 14" snare.
I don't own any hand drums.
Oh wait, does furniture count? I've got plenty :D
Personally, I'd only use an sm57 on drums for the snare bottom, when micing them for live performance. An sm57 is a good allrounder, but there are alot of mics that do way better for drums, and...
You'll just need to clarify the 'speakon' part :p Speakon is used for powerfull audio signals, like between the poweramp and the speaker.
I guess you wanted to say 'neutrik', the brand, or xlr...
There is a huge difference between micing the reso- or batterside. If you are any good at mixing you should know you can't get a drumkit to sound good and natural if you only mic the reso side. If...
I really like the music!
It reminds me off Linkin Park, Rise Against, Breaking Benjamin. Maybe a little Bullet for my valentine as well.
You don't happen to be planning a European tour? :D
All Birch :)
Sean, read trough the topic before making a statement like that.
Anyways, why getting a mixer? The extra money you spend on faders could go to quality. Seriously, you want to record? You don't...
After the gig: Do you need some help with your guitar amp?
No, the white PDP's stay acoustic :)
Actually, I want to put the remote kick on the other side of the 24" kick, but I need a lefty twin pedal for that, and I haven't got one for the moment :)
I would get a recording interface like the Presonus FP10 (8 good mic preamps, firewire, incl Cubase LE) and then for starters some cheap mics, kick, snare, overheads. When buying more microphones,...
I was fooling around with my drum setup today, I added my triggered basdrum and a triggered tom. There is a cymbal missing, I've triggered it but I'm still trying to mute it decently.
For those...
Ok. If you are in a situation where you're doing a live gig, but there is no PA present (you have to bring your own), you will never need overheads. Mainly just kick, snare, perhaps toms. Venues that...
First, why do you want drummics? Home recording? Live gigging?
Second: How much do you want to spend?
Those prices make me VERY sad. In europe, the best price you'lle EVER get for a DW5000 boom stand is €80, that is about $120 :'(
