    Re: Dating/Identifying Paiste

No, no other Identifying characteristics whatsoever.

And yes, the purple writing has been completely re-done in black sharpie, looks a mess.

I'd love a 400 series splash, from what I've heard...

    Dating/Identifying Paiste

    Hey there,

Hoping some cymbal experts can help. Purchased a ride from local music shop and have always had a sneaking suspicion that it wasn't actually the paiste 400 power ride (logos had been...

    Re: Bass drum update

Well, glad to see your problem is (partially) resolved. If I were you though I'd say I wanted to send the whole kit back and receive a refund, spend your money on a brand that cares about customer...

Re: Drum kit for newbie (10 yr old)

First off, welcome to drum chat!

It depends entirely on your budget, either acoustic or electric will do him fine to learn and play on. You have to consider noise levels though, because drums are...

    Keeping the hi-hats going.

    Hey guys,

I started drumming around a year ago and without tooting my own horn I think I'm coming along alright. When I started off I jumped straight in at the deep end, bought myself a double...

    Drum Fills

I just wondered what kind of drum fills you guys use?

I switched out to a 4 Piece a while back and I've noticed all my fills seem too generic. Every one the same.

    Anyone any ideas?

Re: Anyone from the UK/East midlands ...

Thats amazing. I only personally know 6 drummers, 2 of them are my tutors and 4 of them run my local drum shop. So knowing other people near me are also drummers is brilliant.

I'm not a hundred percent sure what you mean.

If your just getting used to playing to your hats, it took me about a week of practising 3 hours a night to get good at it.

@Russ. I'm practicing double bass, just don't want to stick it into songs just yet because I'm mauling them (not in a good way) So playing single pedalled stuff.

You'll be more than happy with any Gibraltar product. Sturdy. I bought a stool and a drop clutch from them last year and they're both fantastic.
