Traded in my 14" Paiste Alpha sound edge Hi-hats and 22" Alpha rock ride for a pair of AA Rock hats and 21" AA RBDR, love em!...

Same here, I work 12+ hrs a day and live out in the middle of Amish country and would have to drive far for lessons = self taught!
I just replaced my stock heads with an EMAD Onyx and EQ3 reso, Great punch with this combo.
I have the Alpha Sound Edge hats, they are very loud hats!
Love 'em. These where the first cymbals I bought. I skipped on buying B8's, ZBT's ort PST's and went straight for the Alphas. Very happy with them.

Bought a clamp and tom mount, offset my toms. Absolutely love it set this way.

I have the 22" Alpha rock ride and its OK. The 24" rock ride sounds pretty similar to the Rude mega power ride, To me they both have a lot of ring to it, So I would try them both out and let your...
I have the 16" & 18" Rock crash and have been thinking of getting a thin crash also. The thins have a shorter sustain.
I wish they where the new Brilliant models. They do not carry them yet. The sound clips on Paiste's web site sound a wee bit different than mine, But these still sound good.
