20. My number 1 influence.
I have a 16" China and it sounds terrible. Serves me right for buying a cymbal without hearing it first. :(
Gah, I'm jealous! My Roc-N-Soc has been on order for 4 weeks now.
Has to be 20,000-30,000K. My local drum shop is constantly out of stock on 5A's.
I've managed to hit myself in the face at least twice. Oh, and I also managed to smash my little toe on a cymbal stand.
My local drum shop has one on display. It just feels wrong to me. Maybe it's an acquired taste. :)
WOW!!!! That is a BEAUTIFUL kit!!!!
Wow!! You really did take a chunk out of that thing!
Awesome Kit!!!! I'd be happy just to have that many cymbals!!
I sing back-up while playing. Right now, I use a boom mic. (No clue what brand the mic is.) I'm constantly moving it back and forth to keep it out of my way.

Thanks for the speedy responses guys!

I also have the same question. Is china mounting just a preference thing or are there actual reasons to mount them in so many different ways?
Sounds like a "Drumming Epiphany"! Grats man!
I'd ask some of the other players if they'd like to do something else "on the side". Or maybe just make up the old "Drummer looking for band" type flyers with your info on it. If nothing else, that...
sigh.......9 years old.
I got a 38x13x13 Protection Racket hardware case and a Zoom H2 Recorder.
I just picked up one of these this week. I'll second the "Best $150 I ever spent".
This happens to me all the time.... Luckily, it happens on the old practice kit! (Still makes me cringe after I replace the heads though.)
Holy ****! Amazing!!!
